This perahera is
usually held in August. It is a very colorful one. This perahera parades the
Devale Grounds.
Number of elephants takes part in this perahera. The Basnayake
Nilame walks in the perahera. He wears a colorful dress and he has a good
personality. Whip Crackers, Dancers, Drummers, Sesath Bearers take part in the
perahera. The “Maha Baba” too walks in the Perahera. He was two faces. This
perahera is held on seven days. On the last day Water Cutting ceremony takes
place. Lot of people come to see this annual perahera.
